  • Install the SDFormatter software onto your computer.
  • Double click the SDFormatter icon to load the application.
  • Select the drive that your SD card is designated to.
  • Write a label for the SD card e.g Kodi.
  • Click the option button.
  • Select Quick Format Type and turn Format Size Adjustment to On.
  • Click ‘OK'.
  • Click Format.
  • Once completed, close this application down.

Step Three – Extract the Kodi Image File.

  • If you haven't downloaded Kodi already, please do so now from the downloads page or click here.
  • Once Kodi has downloaded, navigate to the file and move to the desktop (for ease).
  • Right click the OpenElec archive file and select ‘Extract here'.

Step Four – Download Win32DiskImager

  • Click on ‘ImageWriter' from the downloads page or click here.
  • Once downloaded, please install the application.
  • Once installed, double click the icon to load the application.
  • Click the little blue folder and choose the OpenElec image file (desktop).
  • Select the device drive (ensuring it is the one that the SD card is plugged into.
  • Click ‘Write'.
